Extra Curricular Activities - Science
The Science Department provides a number of opportunities for students to learn outside of their usual lessons. Our lunch time STEM club allows students to explore anything from chemical reactions to robotics. We take part in Tomorrow's Engineers' Robotics Challenge, in which students are required to design, build and program a Lego robot to solve a series of problems in a limited time frame.
Students are also invited to get involved in our Greenhouse Club where we grow a variety of fruit and veg. We have recently secured a grant from Rolls Royce to improve the facilities in the greenhouse and to allow our students to investigate automation and future farming techniques.
