Shockingly 1 in 3 Children are living in poverty. At Tarleton Academy we are supporting ‘Cash for Kids’ in their aim to make sure that they have presents to open on Christmas morning.

We are proud to be a ’public drop off point’ in support of Rock FM’s ‘Cash for Kids - Mission Christmas’ in the hope that we can help ensure that every child wakes up to a gift this Christmas Day. Getting involved is easy - buy a gift and drop it off unwrapped at the academy’s reception. We are encouraging all our students and staff to ask friends, neighbours... everyone to get involved!

One simple idea is for students to use their own ‘pocket money’ to buy a small gift for someone else - simple gestures of games, colouring books or a football will be greatly received. When you donate your gifts we'll make sure through ‘Cash for Kids’ that they get to disadvantaged children. Please remember that all gifts should be new and unwrapped. The last day to drop off gifts at Tarleton Academy reception is Friday 13th December.

The Mission Christmas promotional video can be found here and the link to the website can be found here.

To all the students and families that get involved - thank you for making a difference to disadvantaged children this Christmas.

Merry Christmas everyone...
