First Strokes with Endeavour Community
As of September 2021, Endeavour Community have partnered with First Strokes Swimming Lessons to deliver swimming lessons for young people from the local community. The programme builds upon the already successful curriculum programme delivered to young people during the school day at Tarleton Academy. There are currently over 450 children on the programme receiving lessons each week.
Lessons take place Monday to Friday from 4:00pm and on Saturdays from 8:30am - 2pm. Lessons are focused sessions in similar ability groups, delivered to the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework.
By enrolling on the programme it provides an excellent opportunity for primary school children to gain swimming experience at Tarleton Academy before making the move to secondary school. We have a team of Level 3 and Level 2 Qualified Swimming Teachers who are committed to providing a high quality swimming service for the young people in our community.
