Swim with Us
At Tarleton Academy, we have a 20-metre swimming pool for school and community use. The pool is 0.91m (3 feet) at the shallow end, sloping to 1.82m (6 feet) at the deep end.
Our swimming pool has provided great benefits to the school and community over many years and we look forward to its continued usage over the years to come, with our new- build swimming pool opening its doors alongside our new school in 2023.
We aim to make the swimming pool accessible to the community as possible, offering convenient times for community users to make use of the facility. We provide regular lane swimming slots over the course of the week and public swimming opportunities at the weekend for families and groups of friends. These sessions are staffed by NPLQ qualified Lifeguards from the Tarleton Academy Community team.
The pool building has separate male and female changing facilities. Males are not permitted in the female changing room. Boys under the age of 8 are permitted with an accompanying responsible female. Females are not permitted in the male changing room. Girls under the age of 8 are permitted with an accompanying responsible male.
Please note children aged between four and seven years old must be accompanied by an adult in the water at a ratio of one adult to two children.
