Awards Evening 2019

On Thursday 7th November Tarleton Academy held it's annual awards evening, inviting back the students and parents of the 'Class of 2019'. The event involved the presentation of the official GCSE certificates for each of the students in attendance, as well as individual subject awards selected by their teachers and special awards from the students' time in school.

The event was a fantastic evening which demonstrated not only the success of the students but also the strength of relationships with each other and the staff at the school. The speeches delivered by the teaching staff for each of the individual subject award winners demonstrated the strong  relationships that have been forged with the students throughout their time at Tarleton Academy.

We are so proud of not only the Class of 2019’s achievements within the examination series - results which from the available provisional data puts the school in the top 17% of schools nationally and within the top 10 schools in Lancashire - but also of the well rounded young people they have become! 

We wish them all the very best on the next steps of their exciting journey...
