Here at Tarleton Academy we strive to be a cornerstone for the local community by providing opportunities for wider community engagement through our Extended Services programme.
We do this by providing the use of our facilities for community groups at evenings and weekends. Many local community clubs use our facilities during the week, including football, badminton, martial arts, rugby, gymnastics, cricket, swimming, dance and trampolining. Contact details for these clubs can be found under our ‘Community Facilities’ section.
We aim to offer activities and facilities to many people from all walks of life. Several clubs have been using our facilities for over ten years and we maintain strong school-club relationships with groups. Many Tarleton Academy students return to the school site in the evening for practice and training with their club. If you are interested in using one of our facilities for a club or organisation of your own, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the school.
We have a dedicated team of Extended Services staff who work during the evenings and weekends to ensure the smooth running of our facilities for these groups. Our Extended Services team are all NPLQ Lifeguard qualified and First Aid trained and are on hand to assist these community groups during their hire period.
Our most up to date timetable is as follows, in place as of 24th September 2018.
